You can allocate more resources – such as storage and traffic – to your customers than your plan includes, because only the amount actually used counts towards the limit.

The benefits of cPanel
cPanel is an intuitive and user-friendly web hosting control panel that offers many benefits to both system administrators and end users. Its key advantage is its ease of use: your customers can easily manage their websites, email accounts, domains and databases. cPanel automates most hosting tasks, so even less experienced users can manage it with ease, whilst regular updates ensure that the latest technologies and security features are always available.
Its services include comprehensive email management (accounts, aliases, forwarding), domain management (subdomains, parked domains), file management, and backup and restore. It supports popular web technologies such as PHP and MySQL, and also provides web statistics. Features aimed at resellers, such as custom branding, resource limits and account management, make it even more attractive to web hosting providers.
Overselling: what does it mean, and when is it useful?
Overselling is a setting that resellers can use in cPanel. It allows you to allocate more resources – such as hosting and bandwidth – to your customers than you have actually been allocated. This works provided your customers do not use up the full allocated quota: for example, if you have 100 GB of hosting, you can allocate up to 200 GB in total, provided that your customers do not actually use up this amount all at once.
This is particularly useful if you know that your customers do not typically make full use of the resources they are allocated: this way, you can serve more customers and make more efficient use of the capacity at your disposal.
Risks: if several customers attempt to use the allocated resources at the same time, and their combined usage exceeds the available capacity, this may lead to performance issues or service outages. It is therefore advisable to monitor actual usage and upgrade to a larger plan in good time.
CloudLinux
CloudLinux isolates resources, ensuring that no single user can overload the server, which enhances stability and performance. CageFS technology provides enhanced security by isolating users from one another. CloudLinux also supports the secure use of older PHP versions and is fully compatible with cPanel. Detailed monitoring of resource usage and regular updates further improve the quality and reliability of the service.

In the case of cPanel, ‘white label’ means that you can fully customise the interface and brand it with your own name, without end users realising that they are using our system. You can apply your own logo, colours and other branding elements to the cPanel interface, so that the service appears to your customers as your own brand.
