How the plan wizard works
Based on a few questions or a brief description, we’ll show you which hosting, email or server plan is best suited to your website, and how much it costs.
Answer or describe
Click on the answers to the questions, or describe what you need in a few sentences. Artificial intelligence will use your description to fill in the questions, and we’ll only ask about anything that’s missing from it.
Get your recommendation
Based on your answers, the parameters of our plans decide: we recommend the smallest plan that fits everything you need. We also show the price, the reasoning and, if there is one, an alternative.
Order or enquire
You can order the recommended plan with a single click. If you have any questions, you can send your answers and the recommendation to our support team: we’ll pre-fill the message for you, so you won’t have to type everything out again.

What should you look out for when making your choice?
The questions in the plan wizard cover the same factors that you should consider when choosing a hosting plan or server.
What would you like to run?
A content management system, such as WordPress, requires PHP and a MySQL database, whereas a hand-coded website or one created using a static site generator requires neither. For your own applications, Docker or background processes, you will need your own server or a VPS.
How big will the website be?
A few hundred megabytes is enough for a brochure site, but emails and backups also take up storage space. If you’re not sure, start with a smaller plan: you can upgrade to a larger one at any time, and your data will be preserved.
What sort of surface would you work on?
The KeyHelp control panel for web hosting is simple and straightforward. cPanel is the most widely used hosting control panel, offering a wealth of features; if you’re already familiar with it elsewhere, you’ll feel right at home with us too.
Do you need an email address for your domain?
With our hosting plans, you can also set up email accounts on your own domain. If you only need email, or many mailboxes, email hosting is made for exactly that.
Who operates the server?
On hosting, we take care of the server and you only need to look after your website. On a VPS you get full root access, but running it is your job; if you’d rather not take that on, we run the dedicated cPanel server for you.

Does the plan wizard’s recommendation commit me to anything?
No. The recommendation is only a suggestion: you can choose any of our plans instead, and you can compare all the specifications on the plan pages. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on most of our services, with the exception of Windows VPS, dedicated servers, newsletter sending and domains.
What does the artificial intelligence do with my description?
If you describe what you need, the text is analysed by artificial intelligence, which then fills in the questions from it. The plan is not selected by the artificial intelligence: it is determined by the parameters of our plans based on your answers, just as if you had selected them by clicking. You can always see the completed answers and edit them using the ‘Back’ button. Please do not include any personal details in your description.
Can I switch to a different plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade to a larger plan at any time via the client portal; your data and settings will be retained. If you wish to switch to a different type of hosting, for example from web hosting to cPanel hosting, we will also carry out the migration for you.
Will you be migrating my existing website?
Yes, we will migrate your existing website, database and emails from another provider to our hosting services free of charge, with minimal or even zero downtime. To do this, order your new hosting plan and open a ticket using your old hosting login details.
What if none of the plans suits me?
If you need more storage, more resources or a bespoke configuration, we’ll send you a customised quote. In this case, the plan wizard will redirect you to our support team and pre-fill your answers in the message, so you won’t have to type everything out again.
Do the prices include VAT?
No, the prices shown on the website are net prices. For hosting plans and SSL certificates, we show the annual fee; for servers, dedicated cPanel servers and newsletter services, we show the monthly fee.
