Data centres

Our servers are hosted in professional data centres across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, allowing you to run your services close to your visitors.

It is possible to run a server in your own office, but it is more sensible – and often safer – to entrust it to a specialised data centre. A data centre provides an uninterrupted power supply, cooling, a high-speed network connection and physical security, which an office server room cannot offer.

That way, you don’t have to worry about the server room – you can focus on your own business, whilst we take care of the servers.

Locations

Europe

You can choose from several European locations. For visitors from Hungary, this offers the shortest latency.

North America

If your visitors and customers are mainly from the United States or Canada, you can locate the server close to them.

Asia

For websites and apps aimed at the Asian market, a nearby data centre ensures faster loading times for users in that region.

Australia

Visitors from Australia and the Pacific can also choose a venue in Australia.

Why does it matter where the server is located?

Every request must travel from the visitor’s computer to the server and back. The further away the server is, the longer this journey takes: a nearby data centre responds in a few milliseconds, whilst one on another continent may take up to a hundred times as long.

Loading a page involves many such requests, so the delays add up. If you host your server where your visitors are located, your website will load more quickly, and this will have an impact not only on the user experience but also on your search engine rankings.

Location isn’t just a question of speed: if you want to keep your data within the European Union, choose a European data centre.

Which services are available where?

We’d be happy to provide information on where our other services are available; just let us know where your visitors are based, and we’ll help you choose the right one.

Safety and operational reliability

Physical protection

Access to the facilities is restricted and subject to strict rules. The sites are monitored by CCTV and security staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Redundant power supply

The power supply is redundant, so a failure in one power input will not shut down the servers. In the event of a general power cut, emergency generators take over the power supply, ensuring that operations continue uninterrupted.

DDoS protection

Our servers are equipped with DDoS protection, with multi-layered filtering for dedicated solutions. You can read about the other layers of protection for our servers on our infrastructure page.
