How much does a managed VPS cost?
The price of a managed VPS is always tailored to your specific needs, as it depends on the tasks involved: how many servers need to be operated, what services are running on them, how complex the environment is, and how quickly you need a response. We charge for ongoing operations on a monthly subscription basis, whilst larger, one-off tasks – such as setting up a new environment or developing a CI/CD process – are priced on a project basis. How is it different from a standard KVM VPS?
With a KVM VPS, you manage the server yourself: you install and update the system, configure the firewall and monitor the services. With a managed VPS, you get the same server, but our system administrators carry out the operational tasks, so you only need to focus on your applications.
What is the difference between a managed VPS and a dedicated cPanel server?
The dedicated cPanel server is a complete plan: a KVM VPS with a cPanel licence and managed hosting, allowing you to manage your websites via the familiar cPanel interface. The managed VPS offers greater flexibility: there is no fixed interface; we tailor the environment to your application, whether that involves a custom Nginx configuration, multiple application servers, Docker containers or a complete CI/CD process.
What operating systems did they run?
We work with the most widely used Linux distributions on servers: AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CloudLinux, Debian and Ubuntu. If your existing system is different from these, or is running on an old, end-of-life version, we can help with that too – for example, by helping you plan an upgrade or a migration.
Can I keep my own access to the server?
Yes, the server is yours, and we’ll agree on the access arrangements together. If your developers are also working on the server, we’ll set out the responsibilities in advance – for example, who can install plans and who can modify the web server settings – so that changes do not overwrite one another.
Do you take on one-off jobs as well?
Yes. We can undertake server deployment, a security audit and hardening of an existing system, migration, performance tuning or the implementation of a CI/CD process as one-off projects; afterwards, you can decide whether to entrust us with the ongoing operation as well.
