On 24 November 2025, the CloudLinux team announced the stable release of CloudLinux OS 10.1 on the same day as AlmaLinux 10.1. Since CloudLinux 10, CloudLinux point releases have been released in sync with those of AlmaLinux.

- OpenSSL 3.5 supports the ML-KEM, ML-DSA and SLH-DSA algorithms, and hybrid ML-KEM key exchange is included amongst the default TLS suites.
- RPMv6 signatures: Sequoia PGP tools can sign RPM packages using post-quantum algorithms.
- SELinux policy 42.1.7, SSSD 2.11.1
Installation and updates
There is no ISO image for CloudLinux 10: an existing AlmaLinux 10.1 server can be converted to CloudLinux 10.1 using the cldeploy script. We have outlined the steps in our article on installing CloudLinux OS. An existing CloudLinux 10.0 system can be updated as follows:
dnf clean all && dnf update
After the reorganisation, the /etc/os-release file continues to identify the system as AlmaLinux, whilst the CloudLinux components are listed by cldetect and cldiag; the upstream MySQL and MariaDB packages, as well as the CloudLinux cl-MySQL and cl-MariaDB packages, remain separate.
A full list of changes can be found in the AlmaLinux 10.1 release notes and the CloudLinux changelog.
How long is it supported for?
CloudLinux 10 follows the RHEL 10 lifecycle, with full support lasting until 2035. Further releases in the 10 series:
- CloudLinux OS 10 (October 2025)
- CloudLinux OS 10.2 (May 2026)
A few days earlier, the point release of the 9 series, CloudLinux OS 9.7, was released.
Our cPanel hosting plans run on CloudLinux: hosting accounts are separated from one another by LVE resource limits and CageFS.
