How will the suspension of my service affect me?

Billing 1 min read

You may find that when you try to access your website, you notice that it has been suspended. Whilst we at aWh are very reluctant to suspend our customers’ services, it is sometimes necessary and always happens for a reason. There are a number of scenarios in which your account may be suspended:

  1. The payment deadline for your service invoice has passed, as has the 5-day grace period we provide for renewal should a service have expired.
In such a situation, you will need to settle your outstanding invoice via the client area.
  2. You have exceeded the acceptable resource usage limits for your hosting account, and your project requires more server resources to function properly.
  3. There is copyright-protected content on the website which is being used without the consent of the intellectual property owner, and the owner has failed to respond to the notice regarding this within the time limit specified by law.
  4. Have you breached our company’s general terms and conditions, or was this done at the request of the authorities?
