.art is a generic top-level extension that has been available since 2017. It was created specifically for the art world: it is used by painters, photographers, sculptors and illustrators, as well as galleries, museums and auction houses.
The extension in the title already gives away what you do, so visitors know straight away that they’ve landed on a creative website. It’s a good choice for an online portfolio, an exhibition or festival website, a web gallery, and even if your name is already taken under a .com or .hu domain.
