.nz is New Zealand’s country code extension, administered by InternetNZ. In addition to traditional subdomains (such as .co.nz), it has been possible to register names directly under .nz since 2014.
New Zealand users prefer websites with a .nz extension, and .nz extensions also rank higher in local search results. The extension can be registered from abroad, so you can easily establish a presence in the New Zealand market.
