The .ee domain extension is the country code top-level domain for Estonia. It was delegated in 1992, and is administered by the Estonian Internet Foundation (Eesti Interneti Sihtasutus).
Estonia is one of the world’s most digitally advanced countries, where almost all administrative matters can be dealt with online; as a result, the .ee extension is the default choice amongst local businesses and tech start-ups. The .ee domain is useful for those who wish to reach Estonian customers or who run an Estonian company. As registration requires signing a contract, the process is not immediate – you’ll find the details below.
